You may please note that the Bank will take up the verification of eligibility conditions i.e. age, educational qualifications and status (i.e. Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward class/Physically challenged etc.) with reference to original documents only at the time of interview of candidates who qualify for being called for interview on the basis of their performance in the written examination. You may therefore, please note that if at any stage, it is found that you do not satisfy the eligibility criteria as given in the Bank's advertisement, or the information furnished by you in the application is incorrect, your candidature is liable
to be cancelled forthwith, with such further action as the Bank would like to take.

3. The candidates must reach the venue of examination by the time mentioned on the reverse.

The candidates must bring the call letter along with original cash receipt and the last sheet of the enclosed booklet (i.e. bio-data information form) duly filled in, failing which he/she will not be permitted to appear for the test.The candidate should also bring two HB pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener and a ball point pen with him/her to the examination hall.

5. Please note carefully that if this call letter is not brought by you with your recent passport size photograph (with your own signature thereon) duly affixed on it, you will not be permitted to sit for the Written Test, under any circumstances. No deviation from this procedure will be permitted.

6. Please also note that if you adopt any unfair means or malpractice or commit any misconduct while appearing for the Written Test, your candidature is liable to be summarily cancelled; moreover you would be liable to penal action.

7. You should strictly comply with the directions given to you by the test administrator/invigilator. If any candidate is found disregarding these directions he will be liable to be debarred from the test.

8. Use of books, notebooks, calculators, cell phone etc. is not permitted in this examination. Any candidate found resorting to any unfair means including giving/receiving help to/from any candidate during the test will be disqualified. (The candidate should be vigilant to ensure that no other candidate is able to copy from his/her answers).

Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2010 Including SSC (Women Non-Technical) Course

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2010 on 19th September, 2010 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy amd Air force Academy for the Cources commencing in July, 2011 and Officers Training academy, Chennai for the cources (Men and Women) commencing in October, 2011.
Conditions of Eligibility
(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:
  1. For Indian Millitary Academy : Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1987 and not later than 1st July 1992 only are eligible.
  2. For Naval Academy : Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1989 (2nd July, 1987 in case of NCC Naval wing 'C' certificate holders) and not later than 1st July 1992 only are eligible.
  3. For Air Force Academy : Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July 1992 only are eligible.
  4. For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Course for Men) : Male candidates (Unmarried or Married) born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986and not later than 1st July 1992 only are eligible.
  5. For Officers Training Academy - SSC (Women Non- Technical) Course :
    (a) Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried, and issueless divercees (in possession of diveorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1992.

(B) Educational Qualifications:
  1. For Indian Millitary Academy and Officers' Training Academy : Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.
  2. For Naval Academy : B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics ) or Bachelor of Engineering.
  3. For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
(C) Physical Standards: candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2009 as prescribed in the detailed advertisement.

Application form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Ooffices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-.

Fee : Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.
